A thoughtful start
to a learning app.
Learnio Genie gives your idea a dedicated workspace, with LearnAdapt behind your account and the platform.
Your first activity, step by step
- Use one LearnAdapt account.
Sign in with your existing LearnAdapt account. When account creation is available, you can create and verify one through LearnAdapt, then return to your workspace.
- Choose a starting point.
Browse the free templates and choose a reflection or checklist. You can also start with a blank project. Give it a name you will recognise later.
- Make the words yours.
Edit the introduction, prompts or steps, optional guidance and completion message in Activity. Your edits save automatically when connected; the status above the editor confirms when they are saved.
- Create a private preview.
Choose Create preview version, then open the preview and try the interaction. Responses are cleared on reset or reload. Editing your draft never changes an earlier version.
- Add direction when you need it.
The Brief keeps your audience, purpose and boundaries together. Review a free rules-based plan, or use your saved brief to request optional AI drafting. Completing a brief is not required for a manual preview.
Your LearnAdapt account brings you here.
Already use LearnAdapt? Sign in with that account. Your personal Learnio Genie workspace is separate from other people’s projects, and you do not need a second password.
Turn a larger idea into an app.
- Describe the app you need.
Choose Build an app in your workspace, or Generate an app in a project. Describe the people, their task and your boundaries.
- Review the scope and maximum cost.
Your original idea stays visible beside the proposed scope and any added or adjusted details. Revise the idea or approve the maximum using eligible top-up credits.
- Review the plan before building.
Studio stops after planning. Check the proposed experience and confirm that exact plan before implementation. You can refine the idea instead; the saved record stays intact.
- Check the package and try it privately.
Run the package checks, read their evidence and follow any repair guidance. An available preview lets you test the interaction. A passed package check does not prove learning effectiveness, and the app is not published or installed.
Share a reflection or checklist
- Choose a saved activity.
Try a preview version, then choose Share this activity in your project. Select the exact version, describe its purpose and audience, and choose your public creator name. Confirm that you have the rights to share its content.
- Submit it for independent review.
A LearnAdapt administrator who did not create the activity reviews it. Follow its status and feedback on Share your activity. Approval and release are separate steps; submitting does not publish the activity or guarantee a release date.
- Make a released activity available.
Choose Public when submitting to have it listed in Explore after release, or Unlisted to make it available to anyone with its link. Unlisted activities still need review and are not private.
- Keep useful activities in My apps.
Open a released activity, read how it handles responses, then add that version to My apps. You choose when to update or remove it. Responses stay in the current browser tab and clear when you reset, reload or close the activity; they are not sent to its creator.
Your brief, draft and generated Studio apps stay private. Further draft edits do not change the version submitted for review or an existing release.
Explore released activitiesKeep your workspace organised
In Projects, search by name or learning purpose, make a copy, or archive a project to put it aside. Archived projects retain their saved content and can be restored. Stop any running AI work before archiving.
Use Saved versions to restore an earlier activity into your current draft without changing the saved versions. Export activity JSON downloads the activity and its saved versions; it does not include generated Studio app code.
Archiving a draft does not withdraw a submission or remove a released activity.
Open your projectsWhere LearnAdapt PedOS fits
PedOS defines the supported app capabilities and governed data services behind LearnAdapt. Learnio Genie gives creators a focused experience on that foundation.
The initial scope check explains what your proposed app can do and how it handles data. Private previews let you try your idea before taking it further. Released reflections and checklists can be added to My apps. Their responses stay in the current browser tab, with no learner-response collection or analytics. Generated Studio apps remain private previews.
Free creation and optional AI work
Writing your brief, checking its initial scope, editing a manual activity and trying a private preview are free. A new LearnAdapt account does not include top-up credits. AI requests use an existing eligible LearnAdapt top-up balance; subscription credits are not eligible.
Draft with Genie can suggest reflection prompts or checklist steps from your saved brief. Its availability is shown in the Activity section. Review a free estimate and approve the maximum before one AI request uses your eligible LearnAdapt top-up credits. Subscription credits are not eligible yet.
For a generated app, review the proposed scope and maximum first. AI planning, building and review share that approved limit. The app plan pauses for your review before implementation. You can stop a build; its receipt shows what was spent and released.
A valid activity proposal is charged even if you discard it. Failed or unconfirmed results have their creator charge waived. Review and edit the activity proposal before explicitly applying it; no content is published automatically.
Usage shows your eligible LearnAdapt balance, credits held for approved work, and what each request used or released. This balance is shared with LearnAdapt; it is not a separate Learnio wallet.
What stays private, and what comes later
Generated Studio apps are private previews. Publishing those generated apps and working together in an organisation workspace are not available yet. Existing Agentic Studio projects are not imported automatically.
When something needs attention
My edits have not saved
Keep the editor open, restore your connection and choose Save changes. If your session expired, sign in again in another tab before retrying. Unsaved text stays in the current page, but closing or reloading it can lose those edits.
A newer version was saved elsewhere
Choose Compare versions. Review your edits beside the current saved fields. Keep your version or replace it with the saved one only after checking the differences.
Creating a preview was interrupted
Keep the editor open and choose Retry same request. This recovers the original request without making a duplicate version. Its content comes from the saved revision used when you first created it; new draft edits remain separate.
An AI draft request was interrupted
Keep the editor open and choose Recover approved request. It reuses the same approval and cannot repeat a dispatched provider request. Refresh draft results to recover a saved result. If an outcome remains unconfirmed after three minutes, its creator charge is waived when the receipt is reconciled. You can still write your activity manually.
The plan says something is outside scope
Refine the brief to use the supported boundaries. A plan is a scope check, not a promise that generation or an integration is available.
